At least we have some interesting possibilities now! We'll be fine. just a little bit to used to success and finally we need to reconcile :) let the opportunities happen. you never know. Smile and wave. it will happen.

Liverpool take the biscuit with Sakho, not going to lie. We should not sell anymore players to them.

{Ed001's Note - if you had offered to cover his wages, like Palace did, they would have happily loaned him to Saints when there was no one to buy him. They just wanted him out. You can't expect a rival club to do you a favour, especially one that always ends up paying over the odds for players from you!}

I agree with Ed001's comment, it must have purely been that Crystal palace were willing to subsidise his wages and saints weren't, (way beyond what we pay anyone at the club) media reports were stating liverpool would only want to sell him in the window, but this obviously wasn't accurate.

And let's all be honest, Liverhampton DO and have paid over the odds for the players they've bought from us, possibly bar Lallana maybe?

Palace have paid a £2m loan fee and are covering a good proportion of his wages - for 15 games! That is not business, unless big Sam believes he will single handedly keep them up, if he does then it's excellent business.

Liverpool wanted an increase of £4m on the price they paid to sell him to us. He is not worth the price they initially paid, so they should accept that he is now worth less than that. If they weren't so greedy and him for £12 - £14m then they'd have him completely off their books, which is all they want. Nobody was ever asking for a "favour, " just a bit of realism. We're not Chinese you know - yet!

And Ed001. Mane was a snip at £34m!
